1. Information we collect

Information from Google Sign-In

When you sign in with Google in the app or on posely.in, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us. We use them only to create and run your Posely account. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive, calendar or any other Google data.

Profile and content you provide

• Username, gender and date of birth if you add them to your profile.
• Photos you upload or post, captions, likes, bookmarks and reports you submit.

Photos for AI features

• AI pose search: a photo of your location or outfit is used to suggest poses. It is not stored long-term.
• Create with AI: the photo of you that you choose and the image we create are stored privately in your account (only you can open them, through short-lived links) until you delete them.

Purchases and coins

Subscriptions and coin packs are bought through Google Play Billing. We receive the purchase details we need to give you access (product, purchase token, order ID, status and dates). We do not receive or store your card or bank details. We keep a record of your coin balance and coin transactions.

Device, usage and log data

• Device type, operating system, app version and a push-notification token if you allow notifications.
• Screens and pages you use, time spent in parts of the app, searches, sign-in events (including whether you signed in on Android, iOS or the website), IP address, browser type and error logs.

Cookies on posely.in

When you sign in on the website we set secure, http-only cookies that keep you signed in. If enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure how pages are used. We do not use advertising cookies on the website.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the Service: your account, profile, uploads, pose ideas, search and AI features.
• To process purchases, keep your coin balance and give you the features you paid for.
• To create AI photos and pose suggestions you ask for.
• To moderate content and handle reports, and to prevent fraud, abuse and misuse.
• To send push notifications you allowed, and replies when you contact support.
• To understand usage, fix problems and improve the Service (using aggregated or de-identified data).
• To show ads to users without a subscription in the Android app (through Google AdMob).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

3. Google user data

Posely’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google name, email and profile photo only to sign you in and show your profile; we do not share them with others except the service providers listed below, and never for advertising.

4. Sharing and service providers

We share data only with providers who help us run the Service, and only what they need:

• Google — sign-in, Play Billing (payments), Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications), Firebase and Google Analytics (usage and crash data), AdMob (ads in the app).
• OpenAI — receives the photo and prompt for Create with AI and AI pose search to produce the result. OpenAI does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
• DigitalOcean — hosting, databases and file storage.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our users, the public or Posely.

5. Retention and deleting your data

• You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing us. Your account is deactivated and hidden immediately, and your profile, uploads, captions, likes, bookmarks, AI images and notification tokens are permanently deleted within 30 days.
• You can delete individual AI images at any time; the files are removed.
• We may keep your email address in a restricted form to prevent fraud and abuse, purchase records as required for accounting and tax, and aggregated statistics that do not identify you.
• Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.

6. Notifications and permissions

The app asks only for permissions needed for features you use (camera and photos for pose search and AI, and notifications). Notifications are optional; you can turn them off in your device settings at any time without affecting your account.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, private storage for AI photos and http-only cookies for website sessions. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. To use these rights, email us. We may need to verify your identity first.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed in India and in other countries where our providers operate (for example the United States). We take reasonable steps so that it stays protected as described in this policy.

11. Third-party content

Some images in Posely are provided under license from sources such as Freepik, Unsplash and Pixabay and remain subject to their licenses.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make important changes we will update the date above and, where required, tell you in the app.
